Through Dec. 31, 2024, a highlight of the Visit Salt Lake campaign is the new Nutcracker Treasure Hunt.

Twenty life-sized Nutcracker sculptures, inspired by Ballet West’s iconic production, will be scattered across Salt Lake County. Each Nutcracker location features a QR code that, when scanned, reveals nutcracker locations for participants to unlock points and prizes from local partners. Using a free online mobile app, visitors can track their progress, with one lucky participant winning a grand prize drawn at random at the end of the season.
