A Four Diamond-rated Orlando Resort is seeking a dedicated and motivated professional to serve as the new National Sales Manager, Northeast.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Revenue and Sales Goals: Achieve group business revenue targets in the Northeast Market, meeting or exceeding all sales objectives.
  • Standard Compliance: Adhere to all operational standards, policies, procedures, and required documentation within the job role.
  • Business Development: Actively solicit and map group business accounts, maintaining a database in defined territories.
  • Prospect Identification: Identify and qualify potential prospects through sales activities like telemarketing and tradeshows.
  • Client Relations and Follow-ups: Maximize sales outcomes through strategic follow-ups and proactive account management.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with departments to ensure successful meetings and seamless resort operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two years or more related experience in group sales experience at a luxury convention hotel/resort with 700+ rooms.
  • FICP relationships are nice to have. Corporate and Association market.
  • Northeast Group Market Experience is required. 300+ peak room nights.
  • Must have experience in “cold call” solicitation, contract closing, site inspections/visits with clients, setting up fam trips and contract negotiations.
  • Relationship-oriented, goal-driven, independent self-starter.
  • Have working knowledge of all departments, the Resort and its amenities.
  • Participate in all sales meetings and line-ups.
