An urban Savannah, Georgia, resort is seeking a dynamic culinary professional to serve as the new Executive Chef.

Your role will encompass managing the full spectrum of kitchen activities, from crafting exceptional menus that reflect our brand standards to fostering strong partnerships with local suppliers. Your leadership will invigorate teams, refine processes, and ensure each guest’s dining experience is both memorable and extraordinary.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with Food & Beverage leaders to ensure effective communication regarding opportunities and challenges.
  • Lead daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and cost control, aligning with brand standards.
  • Monitor the quality and presentation of dishes to maintain high standards for flavor and visual appeal.
  • Address guest feedback promptly and transform challenges into opportunities for connection.
  • Uphold and enforce local health department sanitation laws with attention to safety and compliance.
  • Manage essential reports, including wage progress, payroll, revenue, and employee schedules, with meticulous detail.
  • Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff, emphasizing quality, creativity, and adherence to company standards while mentoring chefs to maintain excellence.
