Josh, I wish I knew anyone who was focused on this with their marketing strategy right now. I think destinations always care about return visitors but they aren’t always talked about as a unique market. I think there are so many amazing digital strategies that can support the goal of returning visitors. More personally, as a member of the LGBTQ community, I often return to destinations where I feel comfortable, accepted, and like I can truly be myself. I think other niche markets also return to the same places they love over and over for other important reasons. This conversation is very valuable since we could all campaign for those return visitors more intentionally.
