Creating compelling content is essential for attracting tourists to your destination. But how do you stand out in a crowded market? Here are some strategies to identify and create unique content that will capture attention and drive engagement.
  • Research Your Destination: Understand what makes your destination unique. Identify landmarks, cultural events, local cuisine, and hidden gems that aren’t widely known. Stuck on where to start check out my other post titled: 25 YouTube Video Ideas for Sharing Your City with Tourists
 
  • Engage with Locals: Conduct interviews with local residents, business owners, and cultural figures to gain insights and unique stories. You don’t have to interview the whole town, 10 is a good number to shoot for, and if you are lacking bandwidth a facebook/instagram poll can get you a lot farther than you think!
 
  • Utilize User-Generated Content: Encourage visitors to share their experiences and use their content (with permission) to showcase authentic, real-life perspectives.
