By Laurie Jo Miller Farr
The Kansas City Chiefs have announced plans to move from Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri to a new $3 billion stadium in Kansas by 2031, to include a new headquarters in Olathe.
The relocation, for which the precise location is not yet known, is projected to generate more than 20,000 jobs and bring in over $4.4 billion in economic impact for the state. The project, supported by a public-private financing model, is seen as a catalyst for tourism, job creation and regional growth, signaling significant economic benefits for Kansas.
