Everybody loves a hologram, right? At CES 2025, Destination Canada presented their groundbreaking Digital Twin technology, offering a transformative way to explore and experience Canada in Partnership with Noise Digital, a part of Havas Media Network.

Available later this year, the revolutionary new Digital Twin is a voice-activated persona-building tool that enables users to have a real-time conversation with a digital personification of their target traveller, making complex data easily accessible through a question and answer model.

The platform is fueled by Destination Canada’s recently launched Traveller Segmentation Program, a tool created for marketers that’s aimed at making it easier to define and target their best guests in priority markets. The pioneering application, in partnership with Google, simplifies complex traveler segmentation data into real-time, actionable insights for marketers and stakeholders to more swiftly implement targeted marketing strategies.

At CES, the world’s biggest technology show, the Digital Twin was brought to life through an interactive display with real-time data engagement and AI persona creation. Destination Canada showcased its pioneering capabilities by asking specific emotional motivators and demographic questions to build two unique visualizations of travel personas – the “refined globetrotter” and the “outdoor explorer.” By actually meeting these personified travelers, with holograms designed by HYPERVSN, CES attendees could explore the tool’s innovative capabilities and see real-time data insights generated on-screen in front of them to learn about traveler’s destination dreams and activity ambitions.
