MICHELIN and Travel South USA have announced collaboration in a brand new restaurant guide covering six states: Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The region joins a pre-existing Atlanta guide.
MICHELIN Guide American South, is described by Walt J. Leger, President & CEO, New Orleans & Company as part of a strategic effort to advance efforts to promote authentic Southern cuisine to domestic and international travelers and food enthusiasts. “Travel South USA is thrilled to support the MICHELIN Guide coming to the American South. Our region has long deserved global recognition for its extraordinary farm-to-table cuisine, world-class seafood, and rich food culture—crafted by some of the world’s most creative and talented chefs,” said Liz Bittner, President & CEO, Travel South USA.
MICHELIN Guide anonymous inspectors are currently in the field scouting for culinary gems. The full 2025 restaurant selections will be revealed during the inaugural MICHELIN Guide Ceremony for the American South later this year.
