Skift has reported Airbnb is readying a relaunch of its experiences business and revealed new details that indicate it is looking to challenge Viator and GetYourGuide.

The revised platform includes popular tours and attractions in major tourist destinations where it previously emphasized niche tours and activities. Airbnb said in a sponsored post that it would lean into popular mainstream landmarks and attractions in Airbnb Experiences, and it would encourage submissions from licensed tour guides and business operators.
