An innovative event and tradeshow solutions and products company is seeking a creative, approachable, and genuine leader to serve as the new Vice President of Client Experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategize

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies, leveraging analytical skills to identify opportunities and creative skills to develop value propositions and messaging to pitch prospects and current clients.
  • Leverage existing relations to drive sales and impact organizational growth.
  • Manage inbound and outbound lead generation efforts
  • Build account strategic goals from the client’s POV and align them to our people process and products.
  • Establish and grow existing client portfolios through proactive outreach and relationship-building efforts to identify and sell additional opportunities.
  • Draft presentations, proposals, and portfolio examples; leverage sales materials for pursuit.

Manage and Lead

  • Lead projects from inception to completion, demonstrating proficiency in proposal writing, client discovery, design process, account mapping, and team relationship alignment.
  • Serve as clients’ primary point of contact, reflecting and conveying their strategic event requirements in all communications, internally and externally, including but not limited to facilitating kick-off meetings, pre-production meetings, and other ad hoc communications throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless knowledge transfer during the pre-sales process and throughout the entire customer retention lifecycle.
  • Overall account management with clients, vendors, and cross-functional internal teams to ensure seamless communication, collaboration, execution, and client satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of work experience in direct sales, agency, or client/account management roles.
  • Event industry experience is required, as well as a proven track record of exceeding expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, maintain, and communicate budgets and P&L.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, providing information effectively and making persuasive presentations.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to manage priorities and deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated adaptability, professionalism, and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Chat, Meet), Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Box, and Salesforce.
