In the U.S., the fate of one of the biggest influencer platforms hangs in the balance. “While most of the industry is playing it business as usual with TikTok, the possibility of a ban is very real—and inching closer every day. Those who aren’t preparing for the likelihood that the app will cease or sell its U.S. operations on Jan. 19 are already a step behind,” reports ADWEEK.

At TikTok, the North America Head of Ad Sales Sameer Singh, is leaving the company, according to an internal memo reviewed by ADWEEK. His announcement to depart by the end of February comes as the popular video-sharing app faces mounting pressure.
